It could have been any one of us

My heart and prayers go out to the Yu family. Yu Tian Cheng did what any father would have done in that situation; protecting his family. I just hope his son is doing alright.

On another note, is it just me or has there been an increase in violence around the city? Lately, I've been hearing about so many incidents involving robberies in SF Chinatown and fights on the muni that it's pretty ridiculous. I don't understand why some people feel the need to assert their 'power' by randomly punching innocent bystanders or verbally abusing them in public places when they clearly haven't done anything at all.
Sheesh. Stop the hatin.
